Not quite as rugged as the boot we looked at but still ideal for summer use and tough terrain. The shoe again comes with a GORE-TEX lining which means it is waterproof and yet breathable at the same time. This one won’t give you much ankle support but there is plenty of cushioning in the shoe which means your feet won’t suffer any ill effects from rocky terrain.

These shoes have a removable insole so you can use the one that comes with the shoe or add your own if you prefer. As with many Montrail shoes they have a Gryptonite sole which gives you a huge amount of grip when out walking in them. These come in either black or green and once again they are made for both men and women.
