Talking Gremlin App For The iPhone - Tricks & Talk Moves

Updated on January 18, 2011

Talking Gremlin App

Talking Gremlin for the iPhone is a fun little app. Your talking gremlin will perform tricks and moves and also talk back to you.   This app basically has no real purpose, it's simple good fun.  Talking gremlin will keep users entertained with his cute little moves and clever dances.  Talking gremlin well also talk back to user in his funny little voice.  If you want to try something a little different that is easy to get the hang of then the talking gremlin app may well be for you.

Fip The Talking Gremlin

When you start the app you are first of all taken to the main screen, here you meet your new talking gremlin friend, he is called Fip.  His full name is actually Fanthorp Icarus Parsec, however it's far easier to call him Little Fip. Your talking gremlin is very friendly and smiles happily at you. To start Fip your talking gremlin moving you simply have to tap the screen. Depending upon where you touch Fip, he will react in lots of different ways. As an example, were you to poke him in the eye, Fip will start to cry. There are a variety of different tricks and moves you can get your talking gremlin Fip to perform.

There is an option in the app where you can bring up a page of options.  Simply click the little spanner and then you can do things like read about where Fip is from and how he came to earth.  You can also consult the frequently asked questions for talking gremlin and even provide feedback on the app, this information will hopefully be used to make improvements to the app in the future.

Make Him Cry

Make Him Perform

The best thing about the talking gremlin app is the fact that you can make Fip talk. I suppose the clue is in the title really.  All you have to do is bring your phone close and talk into the microphone.  Then Fip will turn his head and listen to you, next your little talking gremlin will repeat what you just said, but in his own cute little voice.  You also have the ability to record little videos of Fip and even post these online.

To the left of the screen there is an option you can tap and this will take you to a page giving you a few suggestions as to what exactly you can make Fip do.  This is a very useful page as it will give the user some ideas on how to get your talking gremlin to do tricks and moves.  To be honest though I think the most impressive feature of the app is the fact that you can get your little gremlin to talk back to you.

To be perfectly honest the talking gremlin app really serves no real purpose and will probably never be useful.  On the flip side it is good fun, easy to use, entertaining and of course free.  So overall this is not a bad app at all.  If you want something to keep you entertained for a while and put a smile on your face this could be for you, if you have children and want to keep them busy for a while then talking gremlin really is perfect.
